Welcome to Willow Psychology Group! Starting therapy can bring up a mix of emotions—relief, uncertainty, hope, hesitation. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. If you’re here, something in you is already paying attention.
This is a space to slow down, reflect, and begin understanding yourself with more clarity and compassion. Therapy isn’t about becoming someone else—it’s about coming home to who you are, with more support and choice along the way.
What to Expect
Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to you. I take time to understand you as a whole person—your experiences, relationships, values, and the ways you’ve learned to move through the world.
Our work may involve exploring patterns in your thoughts, emotions, or relationships, especially those shaped by earlier experiences. We approach these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment, honoring what they once offered you while gently considering whether they still serve you.
Sessions move at a pace that respects your nervous system and your capacity. Safety, trust, and attunement come first. From there, we work toward greater flexibility, self-understanding, and living in ways that feel more aligned with what matters most to you.
The first session is an opportunity to get to know one another and begin building a foundation for our work together.
We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy now, your goals, and any questions or concerns you have. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance or know exactly what to say—showing up as you are is enough.
I’ll also share more about how I work and what therapy with me typically looks like, so you can decide whether this feels like a good fit. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, grounded, and clearer about next steps.

-
Yes. I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Blue Choice PPO plans.
Because coverage varies by plan, I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm details such as copays, deductibles, and any session limits.
-
I offer private-pay therapy for clients who prefer to pay out of pocket.
Initial session: $250
Ongoing sessions: $200
Some clients choose private pay for greater flexibility, privacy, or to avoid insurance-related limitations.
-
If I am out-of-network with your insurance plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. I can provide a superbill upon request, which you can submit to your insurance company.
I recommend confirming your out-of-network mental health benefits directly with your insurer.
-
When using insurance, a mental health diagnosis is required and becomes part of your medical record.
For private-pay clients, a diagnosis is not required unless you request one.
-
Yes. I offer 15-minute complimentary consultations to help you ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and determine whether working together feels like a good fit.

My work is integrative and trauma-informed. I use evidence-based approaches including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
Prolonged Exposure (PE)
Psychodynamic therapy
Rather than applying a single model, I tailor therapy to each person, prioritizing safety, pacing, and a collaborative relationship.
